The company Gustav Ehlert GmbH & Co. KG was established in 1924. Since then, it has supplied both craft firms and companies in the food industry with basic consumables.

Over 80 employees are available to our customers as contact persons, both in the office and in the field. We have 15,000 square metres of storage space to stock 18,000 different items, 90% of which are instantly available. The goods are distributed in our own modern trucks and vans, via forwarding agencies or parcel/courier service.

Our customers, their wishes and the trust they place in us form the backbone of our thoughts and actions. We, Ehlert, are very aware of the responsibility and explosive nature of the position we hold in the food industry supply chain.
We play a crucial, important role on the way from farm to fork or from stable to table. We supply our customers with all kinds of items required in the manufacture of meat and sausage products, fish, delicatessen, confectionary and cheese products. Our customers, in turn, supply wholesalers, retailers and ultimate consumers with their products.

On the long path from starting out as raw materials and ending up as finished products, the quality and safety of products must never be neglected. This is the demand placed by our customers and their buyers; it is also the demand we place on our suppliers and trading partners.

To ensure optimal quality and safety, we have been IFS-certified since 2009. This higher level was an objective we wished to achieve, and that we have, indeed, managed to achieve.
