Ehlert history 1924

1924 Foundation: Gustav Ehlert, the managing director of the butchers' guild, founds the first specialist shop in Gütersloh for butchers.

Relocation: Ehlert moves to the property at Blessenstätte 8 in Gütersloh, which he has acquired from his heirs.

Ehlert history 1928

1928 Construction of a new warehouse building in Blessenstätte and positive business development: Ehlert already has 58 regular customers, including butchers, meat product factories and large slaughterhouses.

Ehlert history 1950

1950 Reconstruction of the Blessenstätte: storage and business premises destroyed by bombs are rebuilt. Intensification of the business by Karl-Gustav Ehlert, who joined as a partner, and Günter Kramme.

1972 Move to new premises in Wagenfeldstraße in Gütersloh: The larger office, warehouse, workshop and service premises in Wagenfeldstraße enable further growth.

1980 Generation change: With Martin Ehlert the 3rd generation takes over the management. Expansion of product range and services.

1994 70th year of foundation: Ehlert has 40 qualified employees.

1996 New building on Lupinenweg: A new company complex for Ehlert GmbH & Co KG. is created - the answer to the constant growth and the expansion of assortment, logistics and service.

Ehlert history 2006

2006 Modernisation and expansion of the in-house spice processing facility in Lupinenweg. Construction of a further warehouse with 1500 pallet spaces.

2009 Receipt of IFS certification: This confirms the highest quality standards for the food industry.

2013 New building and move into a modern logistics and production building: Ehlert moves to Schinkenstraße 9 in Verl.

2017 Expansion of the storage area by 6,000 square meters and reorganization of the incoming goods department.
