Donation + Lebenshilfe

Inclusion made easy

The support of social projects in their home region is important to Gustav Ehlert GmbH from Verl. “If we also use it to support such a meaningful project as the current project from the early support area of Lebenshilfe, we are even more happy to give,” emphasizes Managing Director Philipp Ehlert. Together with his management colleague Tobias Ortkras, he now presented a symbolic cheque for 3,000 euros to the chairwoman of Lebenshilfe Kreisvereinigung Gütersloh e. V..

The company is choosing two institutions to receive donations this year in the run-up to Christmas. It is always important for the Ehlert management to get to know the facility themselves. In compliance with the Corona regulations, the Lebenshilfe chairmen Andreas Henke and Evelyn Voßhans as well as managing director Ingrid Auweiler and division manager Stephanie Borghoff were happy to make this possible.

Stephanie Borghoff, Head of Early Intervention at Lebenshilfe, presented how the donation from Gustav Ehlert GmbH is used. “We know from our contacts with parents of early intervention children and from the open day that children often find it difficult to join a new group. Full membership of the respective children’s group is always an essential prerequisite for positive development and good educational opportunities for children. ”

“The needs-based group offers from Lebenshilfe aim to make it easier for individual children to find their place in the community, and this in turn benefits the entire group. So that this meaningful task can be implemented, we are dependent on donations, ”says Ingrid Auweiler, managing director of Lebenshilfe.

Tobias Ortkras and Philipp Ehlert particularly liked the approach to mutual trade in the Lebenshilfe project, which they are also familiar with from everyday business life. The conclusion of the managing directors of the Ehlert company: “This is a great project that we are very happy to support.”
