Natural beef casings

Beef Cranberry Casings

The wreathed intestine refers to the small intestine of cattle. It is best used to make classic meat sausage rings or raw and cooked sausage.
Its outstanding features:

  • excellent smoke absorption
  • true to calibre

You can get the beef wreath casings in different calibers from 35/37 to 50+. Natural beef casings are available in pieces of 25 centimetres and in bundles of 18 or 50 metres.

bovine midgut

The midgut of the bovine additionally includes part of the large intestine. These casings are best suited for raw and cooked sausage. Medium casings are made for large calibre sausages where the casing is not eaten. They are also very stable to filling and boil-proof.

You can get our beef middle casings in different calibres and in thick-fleshed or boil-proof bundles with loops.

Guaranteed no mess: natural pork casings

The small intestine of the pig is most commonly used in the production of raw, cooked or scalded sausages. With it, tasty bratwurst, bockwurst, blood sausage or white sausage as well as spicy mead ends are produced in no time at all.

Quite Scha(r)f: Stringlings

The conclusion of our offer contribution are the stringlings. This is the name given to the small intestine of the sheep. This natural casing can be eaten without hesitation and is considered particularly tender. It is primarily suitable for fine boiled sausages, but also for smoked sausages. The best known examples of sausages in the Saitling are Wiener Würstchen and Nürnberger Rostbratwürste.

Our stringers are available in calibres from 18/20 to 28/30.
